It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Joan Porter of Windsor, Nova Scotia, born in Digby, Nova Scotia, who passed away on March 16, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hamilton "Jack" and Jennie Muriel Hunter (Hennigar); her husband Frank Porter; and her sister Sandra Hunter. She is survived by: her children, John "Jack" (Michelle) of Ontario and Sara Smysniuk (Fred) of Mount Uniacke; and her grandchildren, Allexandra, Olivia Porter, Russell Smysniuk, Mikayla and Jarid Smysniuk.
Donations in memory of Dolores may be made to the Brooklyn Fire Department.
