He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Ward and Alverta Ward (Lake); and his siblings, Lowell Ward, Charlie Ward, Blois Ward, Elsie McGrory and Grace Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Pat; his stepchildren, Jarett Johnson (Kelly) and Jenny Johnson; his daughter Cindy Ward; his grandchildren, Victoria, Avery Johnson, Aiden and Kylie Allen; his siblings, John Ward (Dorothy), Ken Ward (Mary) and Jackie Ward (Maurice); his siblings-in-law, Edward McGrory and Vera Ward; and his friends, Owen, Susie Smith and Ron Singer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held (masks & social distancing required) 2 p. m. Saturday, January 9, 2021, in the Lindsay Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, P. O. Box 2218, Windsor, NS B0N 2T0.
