He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Burgess and Francina Burgess (Oxford); and his brothers-in-law, Wayne Brace and Garnet Conrad. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Willis; his children, Paul (Sue) and Shauna Cater; his sisters, Donna Hollett (Ches), Rosemary Ivany (Ross), Norma Brace and Carol Conrad; his grandchildren, Megan Cater, Ryan Harvie (Courtney), Nick Harvie, Blair Rowbotham (Megan) and Jacquie Judges (Richard); and his great grandchildren, Mason Harvie, Ethan and Izzy Rowbotham.
