He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Shaw and Beulah Shaw; his in-laws, Roy and Till Eisenhauer; and his sister-in-law Sonja Shaw.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Shaw (Eisenhauer); his siblings, Hope Beanlands (Gordon), Marilyn Simpson (Randy) and Allen Shaw (Heather); his daughters, Nicki Shaw (Steven), Krista Lee (Ho) and Suzanne Shaw-O'Leary (Jeff); his grandchildren, Austin Shaw-O'Leary (Raimee), Jacob Shaw-O'Leary (Hailey), Zack Johnson, Olivia Johnson and Oliver Lee; and his caregiver David. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of David to: Nova Scotia Hemophilia Society, Alzheimer's Society of Nova Scotia, Windsor Baptist Church, Palliative Fund at Hants Community Hospital, or a charity of your choice.
