He was predeceased by: his parents, James Canavan and Myrtle Canavan (Lantz); and his brother Kenneth. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his son Craig (Jen); his grandchildren, Randi (Ben), Austin, Dante (Joyce) and Maddie (Stephen); his great grandchildren, Lily, Kato, Jeremiah and Harden; and his siblings, Joyce (Mosytn), Dianne, Robert (Karen), Lloyd (Leola) and Mark. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
