With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl William Salter of Windsor, Nova Scotia, born in Hantsport, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 2, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Salter and Doris "Pauline" Salter (Dill); his former wife Nancy Swan; his son David; his sister Maxine Tucker (George); and his granddaughter Allison Holthoff (Salter).
He is survived by: his sons, Fred (Gloria) and James (Charmaine); his brothers, Glynn (Marie) and Barrie (Rita); his grandchildren, Carrie, Carmen Salter, Andrew Salter, Jaimie Nelson (Josh), Macey Rolfe (Joey), Katrina Zagala (Radwin) and Kailee Salter; and his cousin Burton Smith (Flo). He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
