He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Davidson and Olive Davidson (Schofield); and his siblings, Leslie, Don, Ivan, Clyde, Arnold, Raymond, Helena, Clara and Beulah.

He is survived by: his wife Joy (Barkhouse); his sister Helen (Lightfoot); his children, Alan (Susan), Mark (Pam), Glenn (Marina), Chester, Carol Ann (Eric), Gaspereau and Ottawa; and his grandchildren, Peter, Matthew, Christina, Tiffany, Meaghan, Scott, Julien and Rémi. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
