He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Trider and Katherine Trider (Whitehead); his siblings, James (Daisy), Ronnie and Jenny Brown; and his sisters-in-law, Donna Darlene Trider and Donna Faye Trider.

He is survived by: his siblings, Bruce (Pauline), Richard (Debbie), Jerry, Fred of Martock, Doug (Barb) of Surrey and Mable; and his brother-in-law Ezra Brown of Bramber. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
