It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arnold Ervin Smith (Windsor, Nova Scotia), who passed away on May 18, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Smith and Florence H. Smith (Brown); his wife Helena (Lockhart); and his siblings, John "Jack", Ken, Henry, Donnie, Ronnie Smith, Violet Filmore and Marg Boyd.
He is survived by: his children, Wendy Turgeon (Marcel), Kim (Shelley), John (Gerry), Kingston, Rod (Shannon) and Bedford; and his sister Ella Markham (Jim) of Santa Barbara, CA..
Donations in memory of Arnie may be made to Hants Community Hospital – Palliative Care, 89 Payzant Dr., Windsor, NS B0N 2T0, as it was a charity that held a special place in his heart because of the care they provided to Mom.
