She was predeceased by: her parents, Malcolm Thomas and Mary Edna Dort (Flaherty); her husband Gordon Pemberton; her great grandchild Carter; her siblings, Edward Malcolm "Teddy" (Donna), Joseph Dort (Karen) and Mary Dort; her stepsister Peggy Clarke; her brothers-in-law, Lloyd Barnes, David (Lois), Doug and Wayne Pemberton; and her stepmother Katherine "Kay".
She is survived by: her children, Allan (Catherine) of Currys Corner, Gail Benedict (Mark) of Falmouth and Cathy (Lawrence Sherman) of Falmouth; her grandchildren, Mark, Samantha, Joseph, Hannah and Ethan; her great grandchildren, Dauphne, Taylor, Bentley, Alexis, Hadley and Skyler; her siblings, Mike Sr. Dort (Mary), John (Lorraine) and Margaret Barnes; her siblings-in-law, Ross (Linda), Charlie (Elaine), Jim Pemberton (Marlyn), Gail Pemberton, Juliette Pemberton and Marilyn McNutt (Doug); and her niece Elizabeth Dort. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Donations in memory of Alice may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice.
