He was predeceased by: his grandson Brandon Wentzell; and his parents, Spurgeon and Ada. He is survived by: his wife Isabel Louise (Kempton); his children, Cheryl Anne (Blair Maclaren), Vicky Lynn (Doug Ferguson), Reginald Shawn (Erna Jones) and Derek Kevin (Amanda Silver); his grandchildren, Nicholas Jones, Sarah Jones, Connor Ferguson and Carlee Ferguson; and his brother Dr Greg Thibodeau of Palliative Care, VON. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
