He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry McKinnon and Norma Elaine McKinnon (Rafuse); and his brother James. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Barnes; his children, Adam McKinnon (Jillian) and Sarah McKinnon (Ryan Billard) of Corner Brook, NL.; his grandchildren, Wyatt Stewart, Oliver Michael and Isla Mae; and his siblings, Ann Meisner (Kent) and David McKinnon (Brenda).
