With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melba Hyson (Wileville, Nova Scotia), born in Weymouth, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 11, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Reginald Mullen and Sadie Mullen (Stone); and her sister Phoebe Mullen. She is survived by: her husband Warren Hyson; her children, Steven Hyson, Bruce Hyson (Angela) and Joann Zinck (Tony); her grandchildren, Emma Hyson (Travis Collacutt), Amy Hyson, Kaylee Hyson (Jeremy Church), Jasper Hyson and Whitman Hyson; her great grandchildren, Brody Collacutt and Phoebe Hyson-Hillier; and her brothers, Gifford Mullen (Fay) and Andy Mullen (Beth). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
