Joyce (Heisler) Townsend Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce (Heisler) Townsend (Wileville, Nova Scotia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 23, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Joyce leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Joyce may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

She was predeceased by: her parents, David Blackwood and Ina Blackwood; her husband Ralph Townsend; her sons, Kenneth (Dawn Hatcher) and Glenn (Dora); and her sisters, Sadie Beattie, Wilma Hamilton and Rita Cameron.

She is survived by: her children, Patricia Martinez (Fayetteville) and Ronald (Dale). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and grandchildren, and great and great great grandchildren.
