James left this world on January 29, 2025, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Murray Hilchey and Florence Kathleen Hilchey (Peard); his former wives, Rose Hilchey (Schifferns) and Hazel Hilchey (Snider-Carter); his son James Richard Hilchey; and his brother David Gordon Hilchey.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Hilchey (Willems-Templeton); and his children, Jay, Edward, David, Robert, John, Donald, Kathleen, Susan, Theresa and Robin. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the R. A. Corkum Funeral Home (2719 NS-325, Wileville, NS B4V 5G9).
