He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Short and Sadie Short (Loder); and his siblings, Christina and Robert. He is survived by: his wife Gwen; his children, Shand (Michelle) and Gina; his granddaughter Alexis; and his siblings, John, Gerald, Tony, Kirby, Juanita, Joy and Bernice. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
