He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Otis Zwicker and Emma Zwicker (Thompson); his former wife Velma Reinhardt (Sutton); his wife Joan Kelly (Bruce); his friend Joan; his brother Boyd Zwicker (Dianne); his stepchildren, Douglas Reinhardt (Barbara), Ronald Reinhardt (Karen), Kevin Reinhardt (Billie), Susan Bozec, Cindy Strachan and Michael Kelly (Anita); his brother Hugh Zwicker (Evelyn); and also Muffie.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or the Lung Association of Nova Scotia.
