He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert River and Grace Cooke East River; his wife Frances; his sister Donna; and his nephew Wade.
He is survived by: his sister Daphne Lohnes (Bruce); his brother-in-law Arnold Melvin; his nieces, Sheila (Tony) and Vicky (Terry); and his nephew Bradley.
