He was predeceased by: his parents, Borden Murphy and Margaret Murphy (McCready); his wife Linda; and his brothers, Raymond and Alan.
He is survived by: his children, Laura Fancey (Richard), Nancy Murphy (Gary), Lisa Mahaney (Chris), Peter Murphy (Vicky) and Jolene Brooks (Ronald); and his stepson Charles (Lynch). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and a niece and nephew.
