He was predeceased by: his parents, Evans Dauphinee and Dorothy Dauphinee (Aulenback). He is survived by: his wife Shirley; and his siblings, Moyle, Kenneth and Myrna. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Due to the pandemic, a service to celebrate Bruce's life will be held at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, Farmville at a later date.
