Alan Gates Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 3, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Alan Gates (Wileville, Nova Scotia). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Atwood Gates and Greta Gates (Croft); his stepfather Marshall Publicover; his parents-in-law, Jim Hawkesworth (Caleb) and Ida May Hawkesworth; his brothers-in-law, Parker Hawkesworth, Jimmy Hawkesworth and Murray Nowe; and his niece Vikki Nowe.

He is survived by: his wife Janette (Hawkesworth); his children, Cindy Owens (Andy), Joseph Gates (Alissa) and Ashley Elliott (Matt); his grandsons, Xander, Morgan, Jaden, Jeffery, Logan, Joshua and Jeremy; and his siblings, Albina Nowe, Ann Veinotte, Peggy Gates Webster, Darryn Gates and Thomas Gates. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
