He was predeceased by: his parent Michael; and his siblings, Margaret and Malcolm. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Bernard; his daughter-in-law Helen Bernard; his grandchildren, Cheyanne, Dae, Angie, Abby, Angel and Penny; his siblings, Howard, Maynard, Douglas, Roy, Mary Lou, Norma, Allison and Charles "Chuck"; and his godchildren, Marilyn Peck and Zedaya Peck.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 10:45 PM at the Family Residence (8 Sugar Bush Rd, Wagmatcook Indian Reserve No. 1, NS 1). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Kateri Tekakwitha Parish (11 Church Loop, Wagmatcook Indian Reserve No. 1, NS 1).
Memorial donations may be made to St. Kateri Parish, Wagmatcook, Heart and Stroke Foundation of NS or to the Cancer Society of NS.
