He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan C. McLean and Margaret McLean; his wife Dorothy (MacKeigan); his siblings, Donald (Muriel) and Mary (John E. Also); his siblings-in-law, Kate Turbill (Kenzie) and Archie MacKay (Sheila); and his nephew Ivan.
He is survived by: his sons, Ted (Debbie), Karl (Rachel) and Ottawa; his granddaughter Melanie; his stepgrandson Daniel (Jen); his brother Sandy (Nancy); his daughters-in-law, Roxanne Doran, Cathy Rowe and Ottawa; his siblings-in-law, Florence MacKeigan, Ian MacKeigan (Shirley) and Sheila MacKay (Archie) of Whycocomagh; his uncle Dougie; and also Niagara Falls. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
