He was predeceased by: his father Eli MacKay; his wife Clemmie; and his siblings, Eva (Clarence Morris), Roseanna (Donald MacIver), Alfred, Charlie, Murdock, Gussie, Neilie (Rose), Angus (Betty) and Sandy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ann Marie (MacKay MacNeil), Joanie Munro (Rodney) and Johna Edwards; his grandchildren, Riley, Emma, Grace and McKenna; his sisters, Maude Livingstone (Billy) and Vicky Piercey (Lucy); his sisters-in-law, Shirley, Betty, Teaney and Cassie MacRitchie (Dougie); and his niece Marie (Sandy MacNeil).
