Jennie Blanche MacKinnon Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jennie Blanche MacKinnon of Whycocomagh, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 28, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George MacKinnon and Irma MacKinnon (Mills); and her sister Margaret MacLennan. She is survived by: her sisters, Mary MacKinnon, Jessie MacKinnon and Alderwood; her nieces and nephews, Laura MacDougall (Ian), Lake Ainslie, Jacqui MacIntosh (Darren), Valley, Irma Punch, George MacKinnon (Joanne) and Charlie MacKinnon (Deborah); and her pets, Buddy and Autumn.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Homes Chapel (W) (12 Main St, Whycocomagh, NS B0E3M0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (151 Main St, Orangedale, NS B0E2K0).
At Jennie's request, no flowers please. Memorial donations in memory of Jennie may be made to the Breakfast Program at Whycocomagh Education Centre or a charity of one's choice.
