He was predeceased by: his grandfather James (Grampy Joseph Neil); and his uncle Stephen. He is survived by: his parents, George MacKinnon and Joanne MacKinnon (MacNeil); his grandmothers, Jessie Ann MacKinnon and Jean Marie MacNeil; his aunt Mary Lou MacNeil (Hugh); and his uncles, Hector, Thad (Anne), John C (Rhonda), Gord (Susan) and Charlie (Deborah).
