Alexander MacLennan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 10, 2025, at the age of 88, Alexander MacLennan of Whycocomagh, Nova Scotia, born in Little Narrows, Nova Scotia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alexander MacLennan to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex MacLennan and Lena MacLennan (Hadley); his siblings, Kenny (Anne), Gordon, Jackie (Margie), Margie Nymark (Herbie) and Anne MacAulay (Murdock); and his parents-in-law, Lewis and Ella MacPhail.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Pearl (MacPhail); and his children, Sherri MacLellan (Allister) and Scott (Angela). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Homes Chapel (W) (12 Main St, Whycocomagh, NS B0E3M0). A masonic service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Little Narrows Presbyterian Church (3 Little Narrows Rd, Little Narrows, NS B0E1T0). A burial will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Little Narrows Presbyterian Cemetery (3 Little Narrows Rd, Little Narrows, NS B0E1T0).
