He was predeceased by: his parents, Rex Colwell and Beulah Colwell; and his grandson Richard. He is survived by: his wife Nora Colwell of Weymouth; his siblings, Gary, Sharon, Donna, Sheila and Dale; his half-brothers, Arthur and Bruce; and his nephew Douglas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
