He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kathleen Olsen (Sagness) and Eric Olsen; his wife Frances Chisholm of Lochiel; and his children, Catherine Singer (John) of Surrey, B. C., Eric Olsen (Jackie) of Waverley, N. S., Janet Olsen (Rick Emery), Bonnyville, Alta, Michael Olsen (Maureen Tsai), Kanata, Ont, Anne Munroe (Dwane) of Westville, N. S. and Kristen Olsen of Vancouver, B. C.. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews; and 10 grandchildren.
