She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerard Arkens and Mary Arkens (Wojcik); her husband Fulton MacDonald; and her brothers, Gerry and Henry Arkens.

She is survived by: her sons, Barry (Veronica) and Kenneth; and her grandchildren, Jacob (Darcy), Amanda (George), Jenny and Shelly (Greg). She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; as well as her sister.
