She was predeceased by: her parents, Silas Day and Lillian Day (Welsh); her husband Daniel; and her siblings, Reuben, Silas, George and Vera.
She is survived by: her daughters, Danalee Stone (Tim) and Cathy Thompson (Alvin MacKenzie); her grandchildren, Matthew, Marcus (Ashley), Michelle Stone, Amber and Emily Thompson; and her siblings, Erma Chenell, Merle Day (Marion) and Bernard Day (Dora). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Donations in her memory may be made to Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Unit, the SPCA or a charity of one's choice.
