He was predeceased by: his parents, Hector Marcipont and Annie Marcipont; and his siblings, Mary MacLean (Jack), Jean Lees (Richard) and Hector Marcipont (Rene).

He is survived by: his wife Joyce (Partington); and his siblings, William (Evelyn), Alice MacKay (Douglas) and Muriel Pitts (Lee). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
