He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James A and Margaret Gillis (MacLellan) of Sydney; his close friend Elizabeth Campbell Gerrard; his sister Mary Margaret Gillis; his daughters, Michelle Gerrard-Wray (Ron) and Victoria Gerrard (William Griffin); his grandchildren, Jessica Morse (Zack), Madilyne Bolt, Meriah Bolt (Sorage Badour), Makaiyla Bolt (Krystin Pelley), Nick Mayne (Amelea Morrow) and Layla Griffin; his great grandchildren, Meisha Badour, Rosie and Maisie Morse; his friends, Larry, Brenda, Judy, Alberta and Cape Breton; and his caregiver Rachel MacDonald.
