It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Dowell of Westville, Nova Scotia, born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 10, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dowell and Isabel Dowell (MacQuarrie) of Westville; and his sister Joyce Bright. He is survived by: his brothers, Carl and Robert. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
