With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Carter of Westville, Nova Scotia, born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 29, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Carter and Margaret Carter (Chisholm); his wife Donna (Smith); his brothers, Ronald Carter and Jim Clancy; and his brother-in-law David Smith.
He is survived by: his grandson Neil; his children, Susan and John (Dawn); his grandchildren, Brittney, Alex, Logan and Foxbrook; his great grandchild Lila; his sisters, Barbara Carter, Ellen Clancy, Leona Smith, Patsy Atkins (Dan) and Sterling Smith (Marilyn English); and his friend Travis Mahoney. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins.
