He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert Roddick Sr. and Viola Jean (Porter); his parent-in-law Fraser Collie (Mae); his brother John Charles Roddick; and his daughter-in-law Lesley Roddick (Beaton).
He is survived by: his wife Alice Mae Roddick (Collie); his children, Donna Shreenan (Peter), Melinda Roddick, Terry Roddick (Matt Watson) and Dale Roddick (Rozan); his grandchildren, Rachel Casey (Adam), Jason Shreenan, Courtney MacQueen (Danielle), Neil Roddick and Brent Roddick; his great grandchildren, Aydon, Nodya Casey, Alanna, Lauryn and Bodhi Shreenan; his extended family, Danikka McLean (Jordan), Karrarah, Kinsley and Charlee; and his sister-in-law Maureen Roddick. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
