It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Mitchell of Westville, Nova Scotia, born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 18, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Mitchell and Doreen Mitchell (Fowler); and his sisters, Beverley Ann Green and Brenda. He is survived by: his wife Betty (Taylor); his children, Frederick (Elizabeth), Daniel (Jennifer) and Ashley Phelan (T. J.); his grandchildren, Maddie, Olan and Hannah; his siblings, Diane Cerezki, Susan Swinamer (Carl), Marlene Davidson (Stewart), Peggy MacLennan (Rollie) and Brenton Mitchell; his brothers-in-law, Kent Taylor (Hazel), Jim Taylor (Muriel) and Paul Taylor; his cousin Elaine Chabassol; and his close friend Randy Matheson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
