He was predeceased by: his parent Lewis Cook; his siblings, Raymond (Peggy), Chester, Gladys Fraser (late Rod), Myrtle Ryalls (late George) and Isabel Lochead (late Donald); and his child Sassy.

He is survived by: his parent Elsie Cook (MacDonald); his children, Archie (Debbie), Cindy (Donnie), Smith, Connie Williams (Grant), Wanda Goodall and Joyce Mattinson (Teddy); his brothers, Charles (Rita), Lawson (Sharon), James (Blanche) and Kenneth (Karen); and his significant other Helen Fraser.
