She was predeceased by: her parents, Allan Darroch and Hannah Darroch (Courts); her husband Vernon; her son-in-law James "Jim" Baird; and her siblings, Mae Marshall, Viola MacDonald, Henry, Garfield, Andrew, Sidney, Allan, George, John and Jim Darroch.
She is survived by: her children, Debi Baird of Mill Brook and Greg (Cathy); her grandchildren, Jennifer Perry (Andrew), Darryl Rutledge (Justine), Jackie Rutledge (Allen Young), Dale DeMings (Karen) and Dana DeMings (Sandy); her great grandchildren, Hailey, Sydney, Ashley, Quinn and Kieran; her stepgrandchildren, Craig and Lindsay MacDonald; and her sister Audrey Doggett. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Alzheimer's took much of her memory, but her spunky nature remained.
