He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Murphy and Alice Murphy (Doyle); his siblings, Catherine Murphy, Bernadette Murphy, Bridget McKeough, Alice Cormier, Patrick and Martin; and his brother-in-law William McKeough.
He is survived by: his wife Mary (LeBlanc); his children, George (Patsy), Shawn, Darryl (Shannan), Denise Aucoin (Roger), Catherine DeRabbie (Bob) and Carolyn Rivers (John); his grandchildren, Allison, Jenny, Amy, Mariah, Ryan, Shalyn, Nathan, Marissa, Alicia, Jeremy, Tanner, Hayden, Brenna, Allie, Lyndsey, Garrett and Monica; his great grandchildren, Maryonna, Seth, Olivia, Emmy, Coby, Charlie Rose, Norah and Hali; and his sisters, Lillian Landsburg, Westmount, Cape Breton, Carmel Timmons Margaree Forks (Davy), Ursula Butler Kingston (Pat) and Grace McNabb (Frank) of British Columbia.
