He was predeceased by: his daughter Carol Lynn; his parents, Elda Daley and Ernest Daley; his brothers, Gordon, Geordie, Ian, Jimmy, Jerry and Douglas; and his siblings-in-law, Donna (Gordon), Eileen (Ian), Mary (Jerry) and Ed Gostock (Jennie).
He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his children, Brenton, Lorraine (Archie) and Linda (Wayne Boswell); his grandchildren, Jennifer Buchanan (Jason), Alex Daley (Brittany), Daniel Richardson, Matthew Boswell (Anna), Amanda Boswell and Lauren Daley; his great grandchildren, Alexis Buchanan and Gracelyn Daley; his siblings, Bobby (Catherine), Reg (Cathy), Jennie Gostock, Jessie Landry (Jack) and Betty Jean Sutherland (Gordon); and his siblings-in-law, Becky, Josephine MacDonald (Cameron) and John Boates (Charlotte). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He has been cremated and there is no visitation but there will be a celebration of his life at the Royal Canadian Legion in Pictou on Tuesday from 1– 4 p. m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 16, Pictou.
