She was predeceased by: her husband Kingsley W. Denton; her parents, George Sharpe and Alberta Sharpe (Johnson); her siblings, William Sharpe, Alex Sharpe and Eileen Sharpe; and also Michael Shaw.
She is survived by: her children, William F. G. Denton (Beverly) of Dartmouth, Marilyn R. Ireland (Dennis) of Laconia, NH, Ronald E. Denton of Halifax and Robert E. Denton (Krista); her grandsons, Todd Denton (Charlene) of Halifax, Andrew Denton of Halifax and Brandon Denton (Amanda) of Halifax; her great grandchildren, Ryan, Nathan, Dallas, Keegan, Riley, Nevaeh and Maddie; her nieces and nephews, Barbara Sharpe of Dartmouth, Debbie Ernst of Dartmouth, Robyn Allaby of Fredericton, NB, Steven Sharpe of Grand Lake, NB, Brian Sharpe of Grand Lake, NB, Clinton Sharpe of Grand Lake, NB, Allan Sharpe of Grand Lake, NB, Christopher Sharpe of Calgary and Andrew Sharpe of Annapolis Royal, NS.; her sister-in-law Dawn Sharpe of Maugerville, NB; and her cousins, Marion Bustin (Denton) and Jeanette Denton.
