It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wilbert DeCoste of West Arichat, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 4, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter DeCoste and Alvina DeCoste (Landry); and his siblings, Margret, Eva, Jeanette, Anita, Bernadette, Collie and Bernie.

He is survived by: his wife Jean (Boucher); his daughters, Gertrude Sampson (Blair), Alvina Berthier (Jerome) and Irene David (Daryl); his grandchildren, Brian Sampson (Carmen), Robert Sampson (Sharla), Chantal Berthier (Marc Bourgeois), Jordan David (Brittany Sampson), Alicia David (Aidan Sampson) and Victoria David (Lee Samson); his great grandchildren, Grace, Anna, Amelia and Miguel; and his sister Agnes LeBlanc of Arichat.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the OLA Cemetery Fund or the Saint Anne Center.
