He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Betts and Mabel Betts (McNutt); his wife Jean Mayne; and his brother Allison. He is survived by: his close friend Jean Wood; his brother Douglas (Carol Ann); and his niece Marjorie Fisher (family: Bun).
