Gilles Pothier Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gilles Pothier of Wedgeport, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 13, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Mark Pothier (Kelly), Marsha Pothier-Foote (Jim) and Jill-Marie Jacquard (Joël); his siblings, Rosalie Murphy (late Patrick), Jacqueline Boudreau (Louis), Louis Pothier (Janet Hawkins) and Briand Pothier (Marilyn); his grandchildren, Brittney, Jaden, Gilles, Jean-Guy, Jacques, Josh, Dominic and Marcel; his great grandchildren, Wesley and Autumn; his father Gilles; and his significant other Anne Pothier (LeBlanc).

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gilles may be made to the Wedgeport Tuna Museum.
