He was predeceased by: his parents, Georgie LeBlanc and Anna LeBlanc; and his sister Bernice. He is survived by: his wife Bernadine LeBlanc (Cottreau); his daughters, Sonia (Walter) and Falon (Camille); his grandchildren, Maylee, Délynn, Lionel and Tanner; and his siblings, George, Gerald (Alice), Vernon (Sandra), Milton (Elaine), Lawrence (Kate), Gladys, Evelyn (Russell) and Betty (John). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory can be made to Nova Scotia Heart and Stoke Foundation.
