It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Leigh Rockwell of Waterville, Nova Scotia, who passed away on June 1, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leigh B. Rockwell and Eva L. Rockwell (Benedict); and his siblings, Gordon Rockwell (Marian), Ronald Rockwell (Marjorie), Thelma Walsh (George) and Jean Shepherd (Owen).
He is survived by: his wife Sharon E. Schofield; his children, Randall "Randy" Rockwell (Judy) and Sherry Rockwell (Brian Smith) of Wilmot; his grandchildren, Leigh Rockwell (Sarah Adams), Caitlyn Schurman (Lucas) and Christopher Publicover (Zeta Paul); his great grandchildren, Oliver and Sophie Schurman; his grandchild Casey Rockwell; and his sister Eunice Doherty (late Carl). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family flowers only, donations in his memory may be made to Waterville & District Volunteer Fire Department, Waterville Cemetery or to Waterville Recreation Club.
