He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Cleveland and Elizabeth Cleveland (Schaffer); his former wife Linda V. Houghton; and his siblings, Leslie, Charles, Howard, Harold, Emmerson, Clarence, Robert, Pearl and Helen.
He is survived by: his wife Verna M. Olmstead; and his siblings, Earl Arenburg, Violet Salsman, Priscilla Dixon, Lenore "Tookie" Spinney and White Rock. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
No flowers by request, donations in his memory may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or Heart & Stroke Foundation.
