He was predeceased by: his parents, James Walter and Ruth Laverne Dodge (Jollimore); his stepson-in-law Vincent Campbell; his brother Charles Walter Dodge; his sister-in-law Carolyn Dodge; his granddaughter Katanna McDonald; and his former wife Norma Dodge (Reese).

He is survived by: his wife Cecile; his children, Wanda Dodge (Trevor Long) of Black River, Murray Dodge of Waterville and Tommy Dodge of Waterville; his stepdaughters, Michelle Brown (Leslie) of Dartmouth and Cassandra Campbell (Richard Farris) of Canning; his siblings, Roy Dodge of Berwick, Wray "Tom" Dodge (Carrie Veinotte) of New Ross, Archie Dodge (Jane Robar) of Rockland and Alma "Sally" Dunham (Murray) of Windermere; and his grandchildren, Jessie-Lee Lohnes (Noah), Alyssa Lynn Campbell, Michael Zwicker, Brett Long and Devon Long. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
