It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joaquim A. B. Leitao (Upper Tantallon, Nova Scotia), who passed away on March 4, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joao Leitao and Januaria Leitao; his wife Palmira (Nita); his children, Philip Leitao (Shelly) and Clara Marriott (Richard); and his grandchildren, Kailyn, Kelsey, Koben, Rylan and Chad.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
